Japanese language is displayed while installing Mouse Assistant

If Japanese language is displayed when you start installing Mouse Assistant and the installation fails, please uninstall Mouse Assistant once and then reinstall it.

What’s the difference between the smooth and the bond types?

The difference of smooth and bond type is that comparing Bond type, smooth type is 50% reduction in wear of the pen stylus nib. Bond type feels like writing on the drawing paper.

What is the DPI button for?

It is “Dots Per Inch.” This means that when you move the mouse 1 inch, it moves XX inch. In the case of 1000 DPI, the 1000 dot cursor moves when the mouse is moved 1 inch.
If you set high DPI rate, you are able to control mouse cursor really fast. High rate DPI is used mainly PC games.

What is the difference between the Kent paper feel and Pure paper feel?

The KENT paper feel ( SMOOTH TYPE) is that feels like writing on the highest quality paper, resulting in a 85% reduction in wear of the pen stylus nib than PURE paper feel (BOND TYPE).
If you want to feel more papaer-like, recomend Pure paper feel. If you want to reduce the excnaging pen tips, recomend Kent paper feel.

How do I clean the screen?

Before attaching the protector, please use the cleaning kit including package. After attaching the protector, we recomend to use dry cleaning cloth.

Does the screen protector impact face ID?

The screen protector does NOT impact face ID authorization.

Can you use this with a glass screen protector underneath?

We are sorry, but please use only with this product without putting on other films.

Is Screen Protector washable?

Screen Protector is NOT washable protector.

Do I have to remove my existing screen protector before attaching this product?

We would like to provide the best quality of our products for YOU and all Amazon customers.
Before you attach the film please remove your existing screen protector. After removing old screen protector, please wipe your screen carefully and install on your screen.

What’s the difference between the smoothness 100 and the smoothness 80 screen protectors?

The number is the index that shows the smoothness of the surface of the screen.
The smooth type has smoothness 100 while the bond type has smoothness 80, meaning the smooth type is bit smoother than the bond type.

I lost my usb receiver for it, can i pair it somehow with my receiver for the same model trackball mouse?

The dongle is only pared to the parent mouse, thus it is not compatible with other model.

What is the difference between the model with X and without X?

There is no differences between two items. EXACTLY the same product. The one is managed under seller while the another is under vendor.

Can I adjust cursor sensitivity on MOUSE ASSISTANT tool?

You can change by using MOUSE ASSISTANT by changing the speed of the cursor.
You should be able to change from the Mouse pointer speed.

How can I save my own key combination with arbitrary keys?

First, download ELECOM MOUSE ASSISTANT from

Does trackball mouse work on Linux?

No, our trackball mouse is not compatible with Linux.

Can the Apple gesutre be registered?

Unfortunately, you can not set up gestures from MOUSE ASSISTANT.

What is the difference between 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth?

The 2.4Ghz model use a USB dongle while Bluetooth model use the Bluetooth connection (no USB dongle) to connect to your computer.

Can the tarackball be used in KVR switcher?

You maybe be able to connect to KVR. However, we have not tested every KVR switches on the market, so it is not a guarantee.

Do trackballs work on iPad?

If you would like to assign function each button, you need to download “ELECOM MOUSE ASSISTANT”.

The ball jitters sometime. Are there any solutions?

Here are the instructions below;

Check if there are any object in front of sensor.
Make sure the USB dongle is fully inserted.
Make sure you are using the new battery

The ball sticks. Are there any solutions?

Your trouble may be solved by cleaning the trackball sensor area.
Please push up the ball from the small hole on the bottom surface of the mouse. It can be easily removed.
Then, please use a soft cloth or tissue and gently wipe the three red small projections inside the hole.
Next, wipe the ball gently and set it again in the hole, and see if it works better.
If the problem persists, please try plugging the receiver unit of the mouse into another USB port.
