How to uninstall
To uninstall ELECOM Mouse Assistant when you do not want to use it, follow the steps below.
- Please uninstall using a user account with administrative rights.
- Your device needs to restart after uninstallation. It is recommended to close all applications before performing the uninstallation.
- Start the uninstaller.
(For Windows® 10)
Click on the Windows icon on the taskbar. Select “Windows System” from the list, then “Control Panel” and “Uninstall a program”.
Click on “ELECOM Mouse Assistant 5” as shown above and click on the “Uninstall” button.
(For Windows® 8.1)
Right click on the Start button on the bottom left of your screen and click “Programs and Features”.
Click on “ELECOM Mouse Assistant 5” as shown above and click on the “Uninstall” button.
(For Windows® 7)
Click on the “Start” button, then “Control Panel”, “Programs” and “Uninstall a program”.
Click on “ELECOM Mouse Assistant 5” as shown above and click on the “Uninstall” button.
- Uninstallation will begin. Follow the instructions on the screen to proceed.
- Click on the “Yes” button when the “User Account Control” window appears.
- Click on the “Yes” button when the “User Account Control” window appears.
- Click on the “Yes” button.
- Clicking “No” will stop the uninstallation.
Uninstallation cannot be cancelled from here on.
- When uninstallation is complete, make sure that “Yes, I want to restart my computer now.” is checked and click on the “Finish” button.
Uninstallation is complete.
