Checking horizontal scrolling
If “ELECOM Mouse Assistant 5” is properly installed, horizontal scrolling can be performed using the tilt wheel.
* Limited to mice produced by ELECOM that have the horizontal scrolling function.
- For Windows®10, click on “Start”, then “All Apps” - “Microsoft Edge”.
For Windows® 8.1, click on the “Internet Explorer®” icon on the desktop.
For Windows® 7, select “Start”, “All Programs”, then “Internet Explorer®”.
Open the selected browser. - Open any website on the browser and make it so that the image size as well as the up-down and left-right scroll bars are displayed.

- Tilt the wheel on the mouse to the left and the right.
If the webpage scrolls to the left and the right when the wheel is tilted to the left and the right, the mouse is operating normally.
- For some applications that do not support horizontal scroll, the page will not move even if the tilt wheel is tilted left or right.
Also, the horizontal scrolling speed may not be changed for some products.
* The scrolling speed cannot be changed for applications that use the OS standard horizontal scrolling function.
