Flying scroll
What is Flying scroll
Flying scroll function allows you to perform high speed scrolls by rotating the tilt wheel forwards or backwards quickly.
* The tilt wheel can be rotated quickly by flicking it with your finger.
* The number of pages (lines) per rotation will increase and it will continue scrolling automatically.
* Rotating the tilt wheel slightly in the opposite direction will stop high speed scrolling.
Otherwise, high speed scrolling will stop after a period of time.
How to check for flying scroll
- Rotate the tilt wheel forwards.
If the page (line) scrolls up at high speed, it is normal.
- . Rotate the tilt wheel backwards.
If the page (line) scrolls down at high speed, it is normal.
- For some applications that do not support flying scroll, the page will not move even if the tilt wheel is rotated forwards or backwards.
Flying scroll settings
The following items can be set up for flying scroll.
- Settings for these items are unavailable for mice with the high speed scroll function.
- If “Disable wheel” is enabled under “Presentation mode”, settings for flying scroll cannot be done under the “Buttons” tab.
- Number of rotations:
- Set the number of rotations before high speed scroll activates.
If “Disable” is selected, high speed scroll will not activate even if the tilt wheel is rotated quickly. - Rotation speed:
- The rotation speed of the tilt wheel can be set to 8 levels.
- Scroll speed:
- The scrolling speed during high speed scroll can be set to 8 levels.
